Bookseller's Garden Trellis 2009
May 30th, 2009 in member junkI erected my garden trellis: 2 paperback spinners, part of a TV antenna, pieces from a card spinner, bamboo poles, plastic ties, and waxed string.
The two "cages" on each end are old paperback spinners. The middle "pole" with the hat is the TV antenna. The card rack pieces are on each side of the antenna and on top of it too. (We took the antenna down when we gave away our TV a year ago.)
Last year I made a trellis extension that wasn't adequate for my runner beans and it collapsed. This trellis is for the runner beans and peas and hopefully it will hold up much better!
(The green tent things in front are tomato cages made from bamboo poles.)
